Peru Express - 04 Days / 03 Nights

INTRODUCTION

Peru is a country in South America that encompasses a section of the Amazon forest and Machu Picchu, an ancient Inca city high in the Andes. The region around Machu Picchu, including the Sacred Valley, the Inca Trail and the colonial city of Cusco, is rich in archaeological sites. On Peru's arid Pacific coast lies Lima, the capital, with a preserved colonial center and important collections of pre-Columbian art.

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN LIMA 

Arrival in Lima, reception and transfer to the chosen hotel, rest. Accommodation in Lima.

DAY 02: LIMA / CUSCO - CITY TOUR + ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK (B)

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for our departure to Cusco.

Upon arrival, reception and transfer to the chosen hotel. 

At 12:30 to 1:00 p.m., the city tour begins, beginning with a historical visit to the Plaza Mayor, where colonial and Inca buildings intertwine. Next, we marveled at the majestic Cathedral of Cusco, a treasure of Renaissance and colonial style. Next, we will be at the Qoricancha Temple, the jewel of Inca architecture, now the Convent of Santo Domingo. Finally, we explore the four nearby archaeological centers: Sacsayhuaman, with its imposing walls; Qenqo, a mysterious stone labyrinth; Puca Pucara, a red fortress; and Tambomachay, known for its ceremonial fountains.

We returned to the city, full of amazement and admiration.

DAY 03: MACHU PICCHU (B,L)

Breakfast. We will go to the Poroy or Ollantaytambo train station according to the season, where we will depart by train to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World. We will arrive at the station in the town of Machu Picchu, where our staff will assist us to board the transport that will ascend through an intricate path, giving us a spectacular view of the Urubamba River that shapes the famous canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will welcome us with its incredible terraces, staircases, ceremonial enclosures and urban areas. The energy emanating from all over the place. After a guided tour, we will have lunch at one of the restaurants in the area. At the appropriate time, we will take the train to take us to Ollantaytambo and then move to the city of Cusco.

DAY 04: DEPARTURE FROM CUSCO (B)

Breakfast. Coordinated time, transfer to Cusco airport to board the flight back to the city of Lima or country of origin.
