Quito - Culture and Traditions

Day 1.- AIRPORT TRANSFER - HOTEL

Reception at the airport and transfer to the chosen hotel.ACCOMMODATION.

Day 2.- EXCURSION CITY TOUR BREAKFAST.In the morning departure from the hotel to visit the city Luz de America awarded for having the best preserved historical center of Latin America, our first stop will be the viewpoint of the bread roll located at 3035 meters, and that formerly was known as "shungoloma" o loma corazón, here is a large-scale copy (45mts.) of the Virgin of Legarda shown on the altar of the church of St.Francis, then visit the market of San Francisco one of the most traditional of Quito founded in 1893 place of sale of traditional meals, fruits, etc. The tour continues to the Church of San Francisco, church of the

company, large square, and to finish our tour in the basilica of the national vote considered the most important work of Ecuadorian neogothic architecture,

in the afternoon the continuous journey towards the city half the world where you can observe the monument built in the eighteenth century which aims to

highlight the exact location of the equatorial line where the French scientific expedition defined the position of the line that divides the world. LODGING

DAY 3.- EXCURSION MINDO + HALF THE WORLD BREAKFAST.

Day 4.- EXCURSION OTAVALO INDIGENOUS MARKET + COTACACHI BREAKFAST.

The tour begins by visiting the town of Cayambe, here you can taste a traditional sandwich that are the biscuits, made in clay oven and accompanied with cheese leaf or dulce de leche, continuing the tour there is a small stop at miraLago to take a photograph of Lago San Pablo until you reach the picturesque city of Otavalo famous for having one of the largest indigenous fairs in Latin America, where their skilled craftsmen exhibit all their world-renowned handicrafts and fabrics, in the afternoon we will visit the villages of Cotacachi, LODGING.

Day 5.- EXCURSION P.N. COTOPAXI (2 DAYS) BREAKFAST.

Departure early in the morning to take the South Pan-American where you can appreciate the imposing volcanoes that make up the route of the

volcanoes, arrival at the Cotopaxi National Park (visitor registration) then continue the journey until you reach the limpiopungo lagoon that is located on

the volcano slopes at 3800 meters above sea level. Here is a short tour to take a picture of the place then visit the interpretation center. ACCOMMODATION AND

DINNER.

Day 6.- EXCURSION LAGUNA QUILOTOA BREAKFAST

brief visit to the Indigenous community of Zumbahua where we will make a tour of its fair where the indigenous of the place take their products on the backs of the flames, visit Laguna del Quilotoa where we will make a small walk to its crater, then we will return to the city of Quito. 

Day 7.- TRANSFER HOTEL- AIRPORT BREAKFAST.

Transfer to the airport end of the trip and our services.
